Ask NOT what the government can do for the people, ask what WE as American citizens and fellow waterfront community residents can do to HELP the flood ravaged victims.
There but for the grace of God go I unscathed and all of us in the Two River community! I live in Sea Bright and yes on a very blustery east or north east wind day or night, the full moon and the high tide Sea Bright's down town streets flood. Thankfully most houses as mine are raised and do not flood inside.
Remember the '93 storm? Our house was just inches from having water inside. We lost everything in the garage.
So as I watch night after night these poor people along the Mississippi River losing everything in a flood that they never dreamed of. I thank God for my house, my family. As I am thanking God I am also asking myself how can I help these people? The only actions right now I can think of, is to put it on as many websites I own, blogs, face book etc. I have included links to place where you can donate ro mail items.
Remember Christmas is only 6 months from now and most of these people will not recover from this disaster by then. I ask my fellow resident in the Two River community as well as any and ALL waterfront communities Let's GET TOGETHER and PITCH IN our Help and let them know that the waterfront communites are there along side of them in any means or ways we can. Thank you! You can email me any ideas or thoughts you may have to help these people

Hi, all you animal lovers. This is pretty simple...?Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals. It takes less than a minute (How about 20 seconds) to go to their site and click on the purple box \'fund food for animals\' for free. This doesn\'t cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising. Here\'s the web site! Pass it along to people you know. http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/

OceanCounty is the second largest in the State of New Jersey (in size).? It was settled back in colonial times and it was?developed from land that was divided from MonmouthCounty in 1850.? Most of its development occurred along the coastal beaches and by the Garden State Parkway; the interstate provides access to major areas such as Trenton, the capitol of New Jersey, and to MonmouthCounty. OceanCounty continues to draw thousands of seasonal tourists to the area each year for its beautiful beaches and parks.
